Make Excite Search Your Default Search

You can make Excite Search your default search engine in a matter of seconds! This means that each time you click the Search button on your browser, your browser will use Excite Search as the default engine to retrieve your results.

To make Excite Search your default search, just follow the instructions below:
1.

Install the Excite Search default file.
2.

Select Open to instantly make Excite Search your default, or select Save to download the file and install later.
3.

Once you have installed the file, you will need to reboot your computer to make the change go into effect.

Notes:

If you previously set Excite Search to be your default search engine, but it no longer is set that way, download the file again and follow the instructions above.

You will need Administrator privileges for any computer that you want to install this file on.

You must be using IE version 4.0 or above for this file to install successfully.
